An itty bitty update about all the things that make me happy knowing that I made the right decision.
On August 19th I declared an official "I QUIT" from a job that I knew wasn't quite right for me. Being the type A personality that I am it was nothing less than terrifying and anxiety ridden. There was of course sleepless nights and a gain of weight due to my fabulous habit of stress eating all things junk in my path.
Fast Forward:
I can now say it was the best decision I've made of my 20-something life. Don't get me wrong, I was blessed to have a job in a time when most people can't even get a call back for an application. But there was that subconscious feeling that I knew it wasn't right. The decision for change had to be made.
Since August 19th I discovered that I have more people in my corner than I could ever imagine; friends who employed me, family to support my spur of the moment decision, an other who understood and didn't mind weekends on the couch rather than going out.
Since August 19th I've been able to rescue all things furry and fuzzy and lovable. I ran my first 5k, I have a NEW job which I am in LOVE with. I've possibly found a new place. I have paid off financial debts. And I've truly discovered why I moved back to L.A in the first place.
So here's a few things to recap what I like to call my three months of amazing ;-)

It's amazing how the universe makes everything work out just the way it should.
Here's to a happy heart.
